In fact what we had perceived as an act of punishment is an ancient technique practiced in India for sharpening our brain to make us smarter and wiser. And also it is practiced as a devotional salute offered to Lord Ganesh. Today this simple yet very powerful technique is used for stimulating and energising the brain is known to the world as Super Brain Yoga. It has become so popular for its dramatic results.
Super brain yoga was reinvented, practiced and propagated by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, the founder of modern Pranav Healing and Arhatic Yoga.

What is super brain yoga?
Our brain has two hemispheres- the left brain and the right brain performing different functions.There’s an inherent electrical potential allergic brain waves generated within the brain and distributed throughout the body. Depending on the activity we do do, the brain generates four types of waves- beta, alpha, theta and delta. Of these alpha waves are dry beneficial for us. When more alpha waves are generated, it makes us relaxed, alert and gradually awakens the latent power that lies within us. This brain activity can be mapped with an equipment called Electro-encephalograph or EEC.
In order for the brain to function optimally there should be sync between the two hemispheres of the brain and the brain waves.
Super brain yoga helps in generating more alpha waves, and thus synchronising the left and right sides of the brain and the brain waves.
Super brain yoga is based on the principle of ear acupressure and the transference of subtle energies. Let’s take a look at the image of an ear…Doesn’t it look like a foetus… and the earlobe corresponds the brain…! When we press the acupressure points of the earlobe, it pumps up the cell and neuron’s activity in the brain and increases our mental capacity. It sharpens our memory, improves concentration, makes us more creative and productive. And it had a calming effect on us- reducing stress,increasing alertness, regulating sex drive, strengthening immune system, makes us centred, psychologically balanced etc. etc. It may sound unreal… but the results are amazing…!
